Questions
What is e-GP?
Electronic government procurement (e-GP) is the use of digital systems to run public procurement, from planning and publishing notices to bid submission, evaluation, contract award and, increasingly, contract management.
Who should complete this assessment?
It works best when completed by a small group including the head of procurement, an ICT representative and someone from finance, so that answers reflect the whole process rather than one view.
Does a high score mean we meet donor requirements?
No. The score is an indicative self-assessment. Use of e-GP on financed projects depends on the financier's own review and your financing agreement, so always confirm with your task team.
What is the Open Contracting Data Standard?
OCDS is an open data standard that describes how to publish structured information about each stage of public contracting, so that data can be compared, analysed and reused.
