Questions

What does the M&E practice test cover?

Results chains, logframes and theories of change, SMART indicators, baselines and targets, indicator reference sheets, data quality, sampling, the OECD DAC criteria, counterfactuals, attribution and contribution, and MEAL accountability and learning.

Is this linked to a specific certificate?

No. It is an independent practice test with original questions by Risalat Consultants International. It is useful preparation for M&E courses and certificates and for day-to-day project work.

What are the OECD DAC evaluation criteria?

Relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability. Coherence was added when the criteria were revised in 2019.

How should I use my score?

Focus first on domains below 60%, use the explanations to revise, then retake the test. The optional study plan sets out a weekly schedule up to your target date.
