This notice explains how Risalat Consultants International (“Risalat”, “we”) handles the personal information you give us when you apply for a role, join our expert network or express interest in working with us.
What we collect
- Your name, email address, country and, if you choose, your professional affiliation.
- Your area of expertise, availability, LinkedIn or portfolio link and any message you write.
- The CV, writing sample or portfolio file you upload.
- Your conflict of interest declaration.
- Basic technical information needed to protect the form from abuse (for example a one-way code of your network address used for rate limiting).
Why we use it
Only to assess your application or expression of interest, contact you about it and, if you agree to stay in our talent network, consider you for future assignments that match your profile. We rely on your consent and on our legitimate interest in recruiting and contracting suitable people.
Who can see it
Only the Risalat staff who handle recruitment and the managers of the relevant assignment. Uploaded files are kept in a private area of our website that is not publicly reachable. We do not sell your information or share it for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep applications for 12 months after the last activity on them and then delete them, including uploaded files. You can ask us to delete your application sooner at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, by writing to info@risalatconsultants.com. Decisions about applications are made by people, not by automated systems.
