How this tool works

Built on
OECD DAC Glossary of Key Terms in Evaluation and Results Based Management
Scoring
One point per correct answer. The result by area shows your share of correct answers in each area. The questions are original practice questions, not questions from an official exam.
Limitations
Results depend on the information you enter and are not verified by Risalat. This tool does not replace MAPS, PEFA, World Bank or other formal assessment methodologies, or an independent review.
Your data
What you type stays in your browser unless you save it to a free account. We receive your name, email and summary only when you open your results.

Questions

What is a results chain?

The logic from inputs (resources) to activities, outputs (what the project delivers), outcomes (changes in behaviour or practice) and impact (long-term change).

Why do my answers sometimes differ from my organisation's terms?

Some organisations add levels or use other names. The game follows the common OECD DAC logic.

Do I need to sign up?

No. Your score stays in your browser.

Based on

Sources checked: November 2026. We check the official sources every month.

A learning game. Organisations use slightly different terms (for example intermediate outcome or result); the logic of the chain stays the same.
