How this tool works

Built on
Six areas that commonly explain slow implementation and low disbursement in investment projects: governance, readiness, procurement and contracts, financial management and disbursement, team capacity, monitoring and safeguards.
Scoring
Each answer scores from 0 (not in place) to 4 (fully in place). An area's score is the points earned as a share of the maximum for the questions you answered; the overall score is the average of the areas. Bands: Foundations needed 0–39%, Transformation under way 40–69%, Ready to scale 70–100%.
Limitations
Results depend on the information you enter and are not verified by Risalat. This tool does not replace MAPS, PEFA, World Bank or other formal assessment methodologies, or an independent review.
Your data
What you type stays in your browser unless you save it to a free account. We receive your name, email and summary only when you open your results.

Team or organisation
With a free account you can invite colleagues from each department to answer the same questions. You get a consolidated dashboard: scores by area and department, where colleagues disagree, priority gaps and an action plan. Anonymous mode hides names and groups departments with fewer than 3 responses.

Questions

Who is it for?

Project implementation units (PIUs) and project coordinators; Ministries and agencies with projects rated at risk or problem; Finance and procurement officers of donor-financed projects; Steering committees preparing a restructuring or mid-term review.

How long does it take?

About 12 minutes. Your answers stay in your browser until you ask for the blueprint.

Is this an official assessment?

No. It is a structured self-assessment based on recognised good practice. It helps a team agree where to start; it does not replace an audit or a formal assessment.

Can Risalat help us implement it?

Yes. The blueprint can open a one-day workshop with your team, a training programme or a consulting assignment that turns the roadmap into a work plan.
