An increased pace of globalization has been driving novel challenges across nearly every sector be it public or private. Meanwhile, the public sector along with non-governmental entities and other donor recipients have ended up under enhanced scrutiny. Society has been calling for greater accountability, transparency, and effectiveness of development programs and both internal and external stakeholders demand tangible results. Designing and implementing a results-based M&E system does not fall under the list of easy tasks. Fifth Day – Practical Session

The last day of the program will entirely be dedicated to hands-on practice and knowledge reinforcement. The delegates will have a chance to actively participate in simulated project evaluations, design M&E strategy and plans, select performance indicators, and work across the project/program results chain.


Program Methodology

An action-oriented, highly participatory approach will be employed throughout Results-Based Monitoring & Evaluation Training and Coaching in Yerevan, Armenia, with particular attention paid to sharing experience with a view to adaptation and practical application. The presenter will apply modern adult-learning techniques in order to augment the effectiveness of the session delivery and achieve successful results. The methods deployed will include open presentations, group discussions, individual assignments, practical exercises, and case studies. At the end of each session, the trainer will request feedback and consider comments received for the coming days.
