Trend Advisor

Choose a region and your industry. The Trend Advisor shows today's trending searches and topics from free public sources, and turns them into practical advice: which trends you can use with a genuine angle from your field, which to avoid, and opening lines to start from. The list is refreshed every day.

Who it is for

  • Social media managers and creators
  • Communications teams in public bodies, NGOs and companies
  • Marketing teams planning timely content
  • Trainers and experts who post about their field

What you get

  • Today's trending topics for your region, with the source
  • "Post" ideas that link a trend to your industry
  • An "avoid" list with reasons (tragedies, divisive topics)
  • Hook ideas you can copy
  • A format tip for your main platform

How this tool works

Built on
Daily public trend lists (Google Trends, Wikipedia pageviews and optionally YouTube) classified by topic type with brand-safety rules; advice written by AI (Gemini) and checked by the same rules, with a rule-based fallback.
Scoring
No score. Each trend is classified (for example money, technology, dates, sport, sensitive news) and matched to the topic types that suit each industry; sensitive news always goes to "avoid".
Limitations
Trend lists show what people search, not what your audience wants. Use a trend only when you can add something genuinely useful.
Your data
What you type stays in your browser unless you save it to a free account. We receive your name, email and summary only when you open your results.

Questions

How often is it updated?

The trend lists are read once a day and the advice is refreshed the same day.

Where do the trends come from?

From free public sources: Google Trends daily trending searches, the most viewed Wikipedia articles and, where enabled, YouTube's most popular videos.

Is the advice written by AI?

When available, an AI model drafts the advice from the public trend list and the site's brand-safety rules check it. Otherwise the advice comes from the rules alone. The result says which.

Why are some trends on the avoid list?

Deaths, disasters, crime, conflict and divisive political topics are not suitable for brand or promotional content. Share only verified safety information if they affect your audience.

Based on

Sources checked: November 2026. We check the official sources every month.

Trends change by the hour and the list can include breaking news. Check the latest facts before you post, never use tragedies to promote anything, and respect copyright and trademarks. Advice is guidance, not legal or brand clearance.
