RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be an active member of project teams working on greening new buildings, existing buildings, and/or communities;
- Lead quantitative analysis and work to deliver on-time results to clients;
- Provide clients with expertise in the areas of analytic modeling for asset valuation, risk management, and renewable integration;
- Responsible for project deliverables and outcomes such as building performance calculations (e.g., energy and water consumption, outdoor air supply) and summary reports;
- Conduct energy audits and consumption assessments
- Manage/support assigned facilities energy or sustainability projects including the measuring and reporting of key performance indicators and benchmarks
- Prepare business reports, memos, proposals, business cases and presentations to identify best practices, generate consistent and comparable data across the Organizations and identify economies of scale to ensure optimal efficiency of the department and use of resources
- Liaise with technical leaders regarding energy modeling, energy audits, sustainability, and resilience;
- Develop clear and concise written reports and presentations that convey technical information, understanding of the client’s needs and recommendations to meet these objectives;
- Help develop and/or improve internal processes and templates and promote best practices across the organization.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE PROFILE
- A formal degree in energy and sustainability domain. An advanced Degree (Masters or Ph.D. in the field of economics, engineering, energy, or similar) is a strong asset
- At least 7 years of progressive industry experience
- Excellent Knowledge of deregulated Power Market Operations
- Comprehensive understanding of energy modeling system and methods
- Previous project management/project consulting experience
- Proficiency with analytic software programming (R, Python, or other languages)
- Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork skills and work ethic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and solve complex problems.
