During the Project Cycle Management Workshop & Coaching, participants learned:

• How to structure terms of reference for feasibility studies

By the end of this program participants were familiar with the procedures used by the donor agencies to identify, formulate and manage development projects and thus be capable of preparing successful project proposals. In addition, this program focused on developing and integrating an appropriate strategy and exit plan in Project Proposal Development, Developing Monitoring and follow-up tools for the implementation of the disengagement plan of action, and to develop a fast-track approach with the involvement of all main stakeholders for programs or projects which need to be ended within a very short period of time.

The Procurement and Finance Workshop that was conducted by Risalat Consultants International for the employees of the Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources, and Agriculture of Maldives. The program took place in Dubai, the UAE and lasted for 5 consecutive days.

Participants learned about the evolution of procurement function from operational to strategic. The distinction between public and private procurement models has been made emphasizing the advantages and disadvantages of each. Aims and principles of public procurement were discussed in detail along with the management concepts in procurement. The participants also learned about management of accounts, ratio analysis, capital expenditure, working capital, revenue recognition, debtor report review, cashflow forecast, cash management, budgeting, and the introduction to IPSAS. Participants were given individual tasks and exercises to practice. The sessions was finalized by the discussion of procurement planning process, Q&A round, and participant feedback. Participant post-evaluation and program feedback forms were submitted by the delegates.

The main aim of Procurement and Finance Workshop was to replenish and advance the knowledge of participants regarding procurement and finance management. This program allowed its delegates to:

4-day workshop on Financial Management and Disbursement for World Bank Projects was held in Studio M Arabian Plaza, Dubai for the staff of Afghan Credit Guarantee Foundation and the Ministry of Finance of Somalia. The program was conducted between 23-26 May 2022.

Advanced GIS/QGIS Workshop was conducted by Risalat Consultants International for the staff of Dubai City Wall International Group – ProSoft. The program took place in Dubai, UAE and lasted for 5 consecutive days. The number of participants was 4 in total. First 4 days of the program were dedicated to in-class sessions, and the last day was devoted to exposure tour. Each day the program lasted from 10 am. (Dubai Time) to 5 pm. (Dubai Time).

The main aim of the program was to replenish and advance the knowledge of participants regarding GIS/QGIS. This program equipped its delegates with the skills and knowledge to build web based QGIS applications as well as QGIS systems capture, store, check, and data display with respect to specific locations on the Earth’s surface.

Throughout the course of the program, its participants gained knowledge and new insights regarding the following:

• Installation and Configuration of Enterprise Database
• Creation of Spatial Database
• Importing data to postgres SQL
• Adding Spatial extension (PostGIS) to postgres SQL
• Styling vector and raster data in different styles

• Building Full database for all departments and importing all data

Gender Mainstreaming Training took place in the Fortune Hotel in Dubai, UAE during 22 – 25^th of January, 2017. The event was organized by Risalat Consultants International. The Advanced Strategic Planning Workshop took place in Dubai, UAE at the premises of Grand Excelsior Hotel, Bur Dubai. The arrangement and the delivery of the program was awarded to Risalat as a result of open bidding process that was announced by Afghan Red Crescent Society. The attendees of the workshop were senior cross-functional staff members of ARCS. A total of 16 delegates were trained within the scope of this program and the event lasted for 3 days between 26-28 July 2015.
