Five days training program on Project Cycle Management was conducted for 21 participants introduced by Afghanistan Education Production Organization (AEPO) at their offices in Kabul during March 2016. The program was conducted as a result of a public bidding by BBC/AEPO for undertaking the assignment which was awarded to Risalat Consultants International after submitting the winning proposal.
The main purpose of the Project Cycle Management Training was to increase the level of knowledge and build the capacity of the AEPO personnel to be able and handle their day-to-day project activities as well as plan properly for their upcoming projects. Meanwhile, to develop the capacity of the AEPO staff to become fully knowledgeable and integrate existing knowledge and skills into the AEPO project performance efficiency at AEPO. The participants were all coming with some management background and responsibilities for managing a group of sub-ordinates.
The primary mode of facilitation was modified sessions with enough time for discussions and Q&A sessions with practical group exercises, The participants appreciated the training methodologies specifically the discussion and practical group exercises in which they were able to share their own opinions and input to prepare and developed the problem tree, objective tree, Logical frame work matrix and Monitoring & Evaluation plan during the five days training the following training methods were used:

c. Asking and answering
d. Brainstorming
e. Group discussion
f. Group working
g. Brainstorming and
h. Practical working
The practical work included, participants working on some parts of the projects they already knew about and implementing what they had discussed during the training. Problems in them were pointed out and improvements were devised on each specific instance.

Risalat Consultants International vied in a bidding for delivering three-days training program for the staff members of Afghan Social Marketing Organization in Kabul, Afghanistan. The bid was successful and the assignment was awarded to Risalat.
The sessions were delivered between 23 – 25 July 2017 and a total number of 13 employees of ASMO participated in the program.

The training workshop on IFRS-15 was conducted by Risalat Consultants International (RCI)v for 19 staff members of Afghan Telecom’s Finance Department working on Accounting and Finance matters. The training was conducted at the AT premises and the whole session lasted for five days. The Program took place on 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10th of October 2018.
The main objective behind the training workshop on IFRS-15 was to get the delegates learn the IFRS-15, effect on Revenue Recognition, Recognition Criteria and Transition. Along with that, the AT staff needed to understand practical accounting specially how to pass double entries for business transactions.

General Computer Skills training program was designed and developed for lower and mid-level employees of SCI Trinkot Office in Afghanistan. Some of the participants were introduced by SCI partner organizations in Urozgan like HADAAF, Acted, and DT-3 as well. A total number of 45 delegates were divided into 3 different batches and trained within the scope of this program. The professional background of program audience varied. The delegates were holding different roles and positions in various departments of their respected organizations including logistics, CBE, Admin, Finance, Operations, M&E, etc. The project was fully implemented within the frame of 38 days, out of which training sessions occupied only 28.

Professional Report Writing Workshop took place in Kabul, Afghanistan as a part of Risalat’s quarterly event agenda. The program was held on 2 consecutive days – 29th and 30th September 2013. A total number of 15 delegates attended the workshop from different organizations in Afghanistan including the Roots of Peace, the IOM, RAMP-UP East, IMC, ACKU, GIZ/NaWi/GFA, Handicap International, UNOCHA, and Zardozi among others.

Professional Report Writing Workshop was arranged in response to a Request for Quotations that was issued by The Health Unit of the Swedish Committee for Afghanistan (SCA). Risalat Consultants International conducted 2-days workshop for 20 staff members of SCA Health Unit from different provinces on the dates of 7-8 October 2012 at SCA’s Kabul Management Office.

Professional Report Writing Workshop was conducted for 15 members of the provincial staff of AECOM SIKA-W in Herat, Afghanistan. The participants were coming from different sections of SIKA-W Headquarters in Herat and other provincial offices in Badghis, Ghor, and Farah. Some members of partner organizations were also invited to attend the program.
Risalat was awarded the provision of the service as a result of the submission of the winning proposal to the open public bidding process. The training was completed in 2 days as planned, on the dates of 4-5 November 2013.

Human Resource Management Workshop was conducted in Kabul, Afghanistan for the staff members of Development and Humanitarian Services for Afghanistan (DHSA) and The Killid Group (TKG) at the premises of Intercontinental Hotel, Kabul.
Risalat was awarded the organization and delivery of the program as a result of open public biding. The program was completed in 3 days, as planned.
The participants were having managerial backgrounds with different responsibilities. They belonged to various parts of the organization like the Killid Radio (Both Kabul and Provincial Stations), the magazines published by TKG, and the parent organization, DHSA itself.

Implementation of the Baseline Survey which was funded by Stability in Key Areas-West (SIKA-W) – A project of USAID/AECOM and was conducted by Risalat Consultants International (RCI) in three western provinces of Herat, Badghis and Farah covering 210 villages during 15 April – 04 May, 2013. The project was implemented in two major steps Pilot Survey and Actual Survey.
Through this survey, SIKA-W wanted to establish a baseline regarding the present situation of residents in the target districts/villages from security, social and economic points of view. The outcomes of the survey would serve as baseline for projects aimed at improving the overall living conditions of the residents to be implemented by SIKA-W in the target villages.

Conducted three days training program for Aga Khan Foundation on Sustainable Management of Common Property Resources delivered by Risalat Consultants International to District Governors and their staff members from different districts in Takhar, Afghanistan.
The program was organized as a result of an open bidding by Aga Khan Foundation which was awarded to Risalat after submitting the winning proposal. It was conducted in three days on time, as planned 21-23 November, 2015.
A group of 19 trainees participated in the program, who were District Governors from nine different districts in Takhar province accompanied by either their Executive Managers or Admin Managers.
The program was a success & highly important for participants. The performance throughout the training, a visible change could be witnessed in their understanding of different concepts shared through the program. The final post-test and the evaluation forms show that the trainees improved on the topics that they had limited information about.
