For projects under construction or in operation that must comply with the World Bank Environmental and Social Framework, the IFC Performance Standards or similar lender standards (ADB, AfDB, EBRD, Equator Principles). Mark each requirement as Ready, Partly, Missing or N/A, add notes, and get a compliance score, the list of open items, a document request memo for contractors and the PIU, and a management response template for your next mission or lender review.

How this tool works
- Built on
- World Bank ESS1 to ESS10, IFC Performance Standards 1 to 8, World Bank Group EHS Guidelines and good practice notes on labour, GBV and SEA-SH, applied to the implementation stage.
- Scoring
- Ready counts as 1, Partly as 0.5 and Missing as 0. Items marked N/A are left out. The score is the share of applicable items that are ready.
- Limitations
- Results depend on the information you enter and are not verified by Risalat. This tool does not replace MAPS, PEFA, World Bank or other formal assessment methodologies, or an independent review.
- Your data
- What you type stays in your browser unless you save it to a free account. We receive your name, email and summary only when you open your results.

Questions
How is this different from the ESF readiness assessment?
The readiness assessment checks whether an organisation is prepared to work under the standards. This tracker checks compliance on a project that is being built or operated, item by item.
Does it work for ADB, AfDB or EBRD projects?
Yes for most items, because the standards cover the same themes. Use the names of your financier's documents (for example ESAP instead of ESCP) in the notes.
Can several sites or contractors use it?
Yes. With a free account you can invite site teams to answer for their site and compare results on one dashboard.
