Program Overview

Results Delivery & Integrated Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) for Development Projects, the Integrated M&E Training Program, equips government professionals and project teams with practical tools to plan, track, evaluate, and report development results across the full project lifecycle.

Across the Pacific, public institutions are managing increasingly complex development portfolios that require stronger results frameworks, reliable data systems, and structured implementation oversight. Common operational challenges include weak indicators, fragmented reporting systems, delayed feedback loops, limited integration between finance and performance data, and underutilized evaluation findings.

This program responds directly to these realities by strengthening institutional M&E capacity across planning, implementation, supervision, reporting, and learning functions.

Rather than focusing on theory alone, the training emphasizes applied, results-oriented M&E practices that improve delivery performance, helping ministries and project units translate plans into measurable outcomes, strengthen accountability, and use evidence to guide timely corrective action.

Participants gain hands-on experience in building integrated results frameworks, designing indicators, managing project data systems, preparing structured implementation reports, and applying evaluation findings to improve project effectiveness and institutional performance.

Curriculum Note

The curriculum draws on internationally recognized results-based management (RBM) and integrated M&E practices widely used in public-sector development portfolios and is applicable across Pacific contexts and globally.

The Integrated M&E Training Program is designed for public-sector professionals seeking practical results delivery and monitoring systems aligned with development project realities.

Regional & International Participation

While hosted in Fiji, the program welcomes participants from government and development organizations across the Pacific and other regions.

Related regional programs include Monitoring & Evaluation for Community Development Projects (Taiwan edition)

Target Audience

This program is designed for government and development professionals involved in planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of development projects, including:

  • Ministry planning and policy officers
  • PIU / PMU staff and project coordinators
  • Monitoring & Evaluation officers
  • Finance, procurement, and program management teams
  • Sector specialists (health, education, infrastructure, climate, community development) Participants working on sustainability portfolios may also explore our ESG Fundamentals training.
  • National statistics and results management staff
  • Local government implementation teams
  • Development partner liaison officers

Sector practitioners may also benefit from our Monitoring & Evaluation for Community Development Projects program.

The training is particularly relevant for professionals managing externally supported programs, multi-sector initiatives, and nationally significant development portfolios.

Participants working on climate resilience and integrated water resource planning may also benefit from our Climate Change Adaptation & Integrated Water Resource Management program.

Program Objectives of Integrated M&E Training
